This tour leads through south and east wings of the palace including privat and state rooms of the emperor Ferdinand I. Allowing you to see e.g. the great dinning room, billiard room, imperial bedroom and drawing room and many more. You would be able to admire original furnishings and decorations from the middle of the 19th century.
The route also includes a three roomed apartment that commemorates the late Napoleon II. son of Napoleon I.
After the fall of his father in 1815 his grandfather, Austian emperor Francis I., granted him the titel of Duke of Reichstadt (the Duke of Zákupy). Technicaly he was the owner of the palace, though he never had set foot in its walls. Napoleon II. died of tuberculosis at the age of 21.
